Last December we built the oxogonos: urban air quality meters. #RespiramosconMadrid is a project that seeks to make visible the problem of pollution in the city of Madrid by involving citizens, empowering them through the manufacture of their own sensors and offering visualization tools. ‍A portable air quality measurer for Madrid. Illumination changes based on noxious particle data collected by the sensor. The hyperboloid structure makes it easy to fold and transport.
Red light indicates higher levels of air pollution. Whenever we took the artifact outdoors it changed, alerting us from invisible threats. #savethelab ‍
